TheSandman went to Auburn High School and his family is somehow connected to people at either Auburn High School or Auburn University...and he relayed that Trooper Taylor was pushing Reuben Foster away from Auburn. He relayed this last year. Earlier this week, Bryan Matthews confirmed that it happened with Reuben Foster and RaShaan Evans.

I have two close friends who were Tigerettes at Auburn while Trooper Taylor was coach. That tells you all you need to know. He didn't ask them to provide the sexual favors to recruits, but he did ask the willing Tigerettes to while they were in the room. This happened on more than one occasion so it wasn't an isolated incident.

You don't have to believe me. In fact, I don't really care if you do... I wanted Trooper Taylor far, far away from Auburn when Gus Malzahn was hired. I'm glad he's gone. I don't want anyone like that associated with Auburn University...except Bobby Petrino (right, dda?).

James Franklin. He can shove his cute newspaper ads and his recycled pressers up his arse. I hope he fails at PSU. Too bad he's too scared to face Vandy now.

He should be, IMO.

I think Vandy would beat Penn State.

What did he do to push them away and why would it be improper for him to do so?

What exactly did he say and how did he know which ones were willing?

I was fine with him and everyone else on the staff being let go.

I've heard rumors about Gus Malzahn being a snakeoil salesman and about Damien Craig being a shady recruiter.

Trust me, he didn't even try to hide the fact, either.

True Story: My senior year @ AU, two player's girlfriends @ the Garden District (where I lived) were given $100 each to take their player boyfriends to the movies, away from the parties that night. I was getting out of my car, probably 630pm.

Money came from TT, surprised it wasn't more of a hidden exchange but happened within feet of me. He bounced in like two seconds. I asked my neighbor above me, a player not one of the two that I drank with, if that shite was for real. He laughed, said to not say anything but yeah, it happens, football isn't number one for everybody man.

Players will remain nameless and don't care if not believed.

Ask Bryan Matthews or any associated with Auburn High School. You do know he was helping coach there, right? He had access to all of the players. And it would be improper because frick Trooper Taylor, that's why.

What exactly did he say and how did he know which ones were willing?
"Yo, you womenz go frick teh recruitz and I gots da cash monies in da bag waitin' on ye."

I don't know. Do you want me to call and get the whole conversation for you? I'm sure you'll ask for a recording of the voices and conversations then anyway...

When people that DO KNOW tell you, I choose to believe. Even if I was a fly on the wall, you would still label me as an anonymous message board poster and brush it off your shoulder.

As was I.

So you don't know exactly what he did or if it was improper. You just know people in recruiting circles said something about it.

I don't know.
That was my whole point.

Exactly.

Yes, people that are biased against them. Kind of like someone who places a lot of emphasis on AU recruiting not being too fond of TT at the moment.

Someone explain the whole Bruce Pearl situation.

Bruce invited a recruit over to BBQ he was having (not a big deal and no longer against the rules). Someone took a photo of the recruit and Pearl and faxed the pic to the NCAA. BP had no lawyer going into it and no idea what it was about. When confronted he and the staff panicked and said they didn't know where it was from. Then Pearl came clean and admitted to it. NCAA hammered him for telling the truth after he lied because well, he admitted he lied to the NCAA.

If he'd just told the truth and not panicked it never would have been a big deal because it was a secondary/minor infraction.

And yeah what started it all isn't even against NCAA rules anymore.
