The ESPN article clearly states that the NCAA made claims against LSU of NCAA violations. The NCAA told LSU they were turning it over to the IRC. LSU's lawyer had no problem with that as long as the football program was not lumped in with the bball program.
In other words...........LSU was told that there were violations of NCAA rules being levied against the bball program. Call in whatever the bleep you want to call it.

Well, it's not an NOA. But, earlier in the thread you said that it's bullshite that you said that LSU received an NOA prior to this NOA. Now you're saying that they did receive an NOA prior to this. This is gold.

Again, I posted a link stating that the NCAA informed LSU allegations were being made against them and the NCAA was turning it over to the IRC. That is as black and white as it gets. You can semantics it to death.

Yep. An NOA is an official letter. So, LSU did not receive that officially until just now.

and you are wrong about how I posted about an NOA for pages............when it was one post, in a 5 page thread, linking an article stating LSU had in fact been notified by the NCAA that violations were being levied against them. I have exhausted this conversation with you. We will revisit this after the IARP bends you over.

It is possible someone with the NCAA gave LSU a heads-up about the alleged infractions? And wisely LSU had put their attorneys on the case to build a defense before the official NOA was delivered to LSU?
One would imagine the exact same thing happened at Auburn which lead the Auburn Administration to self impose their own punishment which was entirely too harsh IMO.
