I don't know a single person who would root for Auburn against LSU unless somehow it directly impacted our route to Atlanta (which it never does because the game is too early in the season).
Maybe some Alabama people in South Alabama/Mississippi/Louisiana who deal with LSU on a daily basis feel that way, I don't know. But nobody I know does.
I was giddy last year when Chark ran back that punt.

If this was coming from a guy who only deals with Alabama folks living in Slidell or Lafayette, yea it very much would. I'm guessing those people have harsher feelings towards LSU than Alabama folks living in Birmingham or Atlanta.

But I know what I see, and it's interesting that Alabama's or Auburn's fan base, whether in Atlanta/New Orleans/Bumfrick, Arkansas will admit rooting for one or the other against LSU
Location doesn't seem to matter. Neither side will admit to actually doing it IRL.
I posed a "why" question. Both sides are playing stupid.
Its just funny.

As both Bama and Awbs have responded, no true fan of either is going to pull for the other.
I’m not worried about LSU so it will be good for Bama if LSU beats Auburn. Not going to happen but I’ll be pulling for your Tigahs.

I can't speak for other Bama fans, but for me, I can't pull for AU. I respect them as a University but a die hard Bama fan does not cheer for AU and vice versa.

I don't root against LSU unless it directly helps Alabama. I don't really care either way about LSU. But I'm not around many LSU people, so maybe that's why.
I only care about Auburn and Tennessee outside of Alabama is doing.
