Dude, you’re always flaming A&M. Even at the start of the season on a thread I made to watch Haynes King. What’s your deal? Lol I thought you were trolling, but you legit do the wishcasting horn does.

They are just having a discussion dude. You need to chill out. is there anything they have said that is not true. If so, point it out and move on.

bullshite.
Texas: @Michigan, vs MSST, vs OU (neutral)
A&M: vs ND (>Michigan), at Florida (>MSST), vs Arkansas (>OU), vs Missouri (P5 team).
Expected losses for an elite team on these schedules.
Texas A&M: .44
Texas: .35
An elite team should be undefeated on either schedule.

Notice you didn't say anything about SOS margin, because whatever you got that from is retarded.

I'm not going to apologize for bringing facts and context to a discussion. You best start crying to Chicken to have me banned.

I hope Georgia beats the shite outta them. Stay mad and cope harder because you don't like the reality.

Why would I do that? I am having too much fun making you look stupid.

I hope they don't. I want A&M being the team that knocks them out of playoffs.

I got it from FEI, which is the ONLY SoS metric remotely worth a shite.
Any metric, including the shitty one you just created, that is based on averages is stupid. And if you had any understanding of numbers, you'd know it as well.
Which schedule is more difficult to play? 2 team schedule so it's very easy to see.
Schedule A: vs #1 and vs #100.
Schedule B: vs #40 and #41.
What schedule is more difficult? Well if you use the shitty metrics you like, it would incorrectly claim Schedule B is harder. Of course, in reality Schedule A is much harder because even just a good team wouldn't have expected losses on Schedule B, but schedule A is almost certainly going to result in a loss against the #1 team.
The method I'm using correctly points out that schedule A is pretty fricking tough and schedule B is pretty fricking easy. Your shitty methods do not.

We can't unless they lose at least 2 games.
Posted on 10/18/24 at 2:24 pm to 3down10
But context, dude. Do you disagree with any of my points about A&M's P4 teams being tougher opponents than Texas's?

Ideally, A&M could be their second loss. I am not sure Georgia can beat them. I don't think they matchup that well. I would rather they lose to Arkie, Kentucky or Vandy.
But you never know. That is why we play the games.

Regardless, someone explain the resurgence in popularity and hype for t.u. being a top dog in the SEC. Is it simply because of recency bias and they benefit from blowing out bad teams to continue floating on that cloud nine?
Your question is fair, and I agree for the most part. We haven't played anyone that was a legit passing threat..
The argument that I will make is the same argument I made last year before the season started.
What is different about Texas under Sark?
2013-2020 - 16 Total NFL Draft Picks
2023 Draft - 5 draft picks
2024 Draft - 11 draft picks
2025 Draft - 8+ predicted draft picks
2026 Draft - 8+ predicted draft picks
2027 Draft - 8+ predicted draft picks
Texas should have 24+ draft picks in the next 3 years.
QB - Ewers (25) + Arch (27)
RB - Blue (25-26) + Wisner (26-27)
WR - Bond (25) + Golden (25) + Wingo (27) + Moore (27)
TE - Helm (25)
OT - Banks (25) Williams (25) Baker (27)
OG - Campbell (25-26) Neto (26-27)
C - Majors (25)
DT - Collins (25) Broughton (25) January (27)
DE - Sorrell (25) Burke (26) Vasek (26) Simmons (27)
LB - Hill (26) LeFau (26-27)
CB - Barron (25) Manny (26) Gullibleu (26)
S - Makuba (25)
Texas is not only recruiting good, but they are developing the talent when it is on campus.
Those numbers above do not include:
5 Star S Filasme (freshman)
5 Star CB Black (freshman)
5 Star RB Baxter (sophomore starter got hurt before the season)
4 Star S Williams (sophomore starter got hurt last week)
4 Star OG Hutson (junior starter)
4 Star RB Gibson (freshman - has flashed early)
4 Star LB Smith (freshman - has flashed early)
4 Star C Cruz (freshman, but predicted to be better than Majors)
Transfer WR Bolden
Transfer DE Moore
All 10 of those guys have a really good chance to get drafted as well.
Even in Mack's run from 2000-2009, we had about 50 players drafted over a 10 year stretch. Texas is looking at 40+ over a 5 year period. Some of those are portal guys, but about 85%+ of those guys were recruited out of high school by Sark.
Bond, Golden, Makuba + maybe Bolden + maybe Moore
This is by far the deepest Texas roster I can remember.

I would adore it if we game them their third loss.
Arkansas continues to own them.
Vandy beats them, like I was talking about all off-season.

Arkansas. Notre Dame.
Also, it's a response thread to a Texas fan "not understanding the A&M hype."
