Now…. If he started grinding on recruits…. Well, that’s a bridge to far!

I think he had to say it. Part of it was calling out people that were celebrating their own NIL deals and part of it was calling BS on the $30 mill figure. The $30 mill figure was important to call out because it is simply false.

I think a lot of folks don't realize the impact of a false rumor like that with team chemistry if it isn't called out. If a starter at A&M who isn't getting big NIL money thinks a recruit is making $1 million and he isn't then that's a big freaking problem. He was animated for sure but he was also very specific in how he spoke as well. He didn't deny there is NIL but he also made it clear where the lines are and that A&M isn't crossing them.

The other factor is he is just pissed that the implication is A&M just put out a sack of money and suddenly all of these recruits came on board. He and his staff have been talking to many of these guys for years and spent countless hours recruiting them. It pissed him off.

If you guys really believe we spent 30 million, or better yet, that another 8-4 season will get him fired, or that he won’t have a top 5 recruiting class, then I don’t know what to tell you, others schools would pray for all that to happen so A&M remains the status quo, but not LSU, they want Fisher fired for some unknown reason and think they can accomplish that on internet messenge boards, it’s kinda sad the man hours you guys put into it
