Yea, that is exactly the reason.. Plus we got Brandon Allen the #3 player in the state while Frazier is #2. And after the interview with Brey Cook who is #1 i saw tonight he did everything but Commit.

just gonna say this but long before these guys were actually hitting their recruitment periods people were comparing frazier and allen. according to many allen is just as good as frazier.

Coaches pick and choose who they recruit, recruits pick and choose who they commit to...

Only time will tell who made the right or wrong decisions.

Frazier is a good fit in either system, Arky or Auburn. At least he'll commit to an SEC school.

I would rather have him commit to a non-SEC school if he doesn't come here.

Let's not kid ourselves. Auburn is a perfect fit for KF in terms of not ever having to learn a new playbook. I mean, IF Gus is still there in 4 years, KF will have been using the same playbook for like 8 years..... 8 Years!!!

NFL GM's are probably going to see a problem with that. However, it is doubtful the Gus stays that long. So maybe KF will see 2 playbooks. But then, the whole reason he has to commit to Auburn is Gus....

So basically I have no idea what he will do.

Jason Campbell saw 4 playbooks at Auburn...he has not been very good at the NFL level.

I wonder if he's been "misled" in regard to Gus' professional forecast...

When Gus leaves, Auburn will continue to run his offense. Buleed dat. He is teaching that offense to most of our offensive coaches. Trooper and Luper will both be excellent candidates to run the offense when Gus leaves which I think is still a couple of years away, maybe three. I guarantee Luper is not going anywhere until his son, who will most likely be a top 250 national recruit in 2 years, is done playing at Auburn. I feel pretty good about the offensive staff for the foreseeable future.

I will bet you a Peoples' Championship ring that Gus is not at Auburn beyond the 2011 season...2010 is probably his last season there.

I just read an interview with Frazier from yesterday that says the last thing he is judging the schools on for his services before he decides is the "chance to compete early". In that case, I believe he will probably end up at Auburn.

I look at his recruiting from a logical perspective and perhaps I shouldn’t, but until I hear it from Fraizer I still believe that he will sign with a team that will best develop him to get to the NFL; i.e. a team that requires the QB’s to read defenses and call their own audibles (not getting their audibles from flash cards on the sidelines), and one that allows the QB to take a lot of snaps from under center thereby learning the proper QB drops.

Since Kiehl has narrowed his choices to Arkansas and Auburn I believe Fraizer will be a Hog because Gus’s system will simply not provide anything new that Fraizer doesn’t already know or has experienced. However, I do admit that logic frequently goes out the window when a player chooses a school. I would really like Fraizer to sign with the Hogs but if he doesn’t it won’t bother me one bit because as long as Petrino is at Arkansas QB play will not be a concern. In fact, let me amend that statement to read, as long as Petrino is at Arkansas I’m not concerned one bit with he talent level and play we will have at any position.

The Hogs have finally built depth at all positions and continue to do so through recruiting. Many thought that Petrino only focused on offensive recruits but nothing could be further from the truth. Petrino knows that to compete for championships you also have to have a very good defense, especially in the trenches. We never signed as many quality line prospects and we did last year and we already have three more committed this year and are in very good shape with several others. The bottom line is that Petrino knows that you have to have a complete team to compete for championships and he is recruiting to do just that.

I’m sticking with my prediction that Fraizer will be a Hog until proven wrong.

Look at Petrino's QB from the past, logically...name a successful NFL QB form UL or look at the QB play during his 11 games in Atlanta.

i dont think you want to compare Petrino's QB's draft position to Malzahn QB's draft position, do you?

At this point in his career how can you?

Gus had Mustain winning 10 games and then two guys at Tulsa and Chris Todd. Petrino was at UL for what 5 years...give Gus 5 years at one major school and then you can compare.
