you're right - it's 0 for 9 (not 11)

for people in their 30s they can remember all of these bowl games tho:

1/7/2008 vs. Louisiana State (12-2)L 24 38
1/8/2007 vs. Florida (13-1) L 14 41
1/1/2002 vs. South Carolina (9-3) L 28 31
1/1/2001 vs. South Carolina (8-4) L 7 24
1/1/1996 vs. Tennessee (11-1) L 14 20
1/2/1995 vs. Alabama (12-1) L 17 24
1/1/1993 vs. Georgia (10-2) L 14 21
1/1/1990 vs. Auburn (10-2) L 14 31

I've lived in central Ohio for a while, and I go to Ohio State now (yes, I'm still a Vols fan). Ohio State fans have proven to be incredibly irrational, probably more so than any other fan base from what I can tell. However, I get the feeling that most people here, or at least a high percentage, would pick Bama over OSU on a neutral field. The recent beatings at the hands of the SEC seem to have taken a toll on a lot of people.

Is Penn State in the Big10? Didn't they play an SEC team close (for a Big10 team) this year?

if getting beat by three touchdowns is close, then i guess.

BTW, how has the Ohio St poster never heard of Woody vs. Bear in the 1978 Sugar bowl? 35-6 Bear.

BCS National Championships by conference:

SEC: 6
Big 10: 1

You can see by this statistic why stupid fricking yankees would think they are superior in college football

No, but nice job on the reding comprehension skills there bud! A previous poster asked if Penn St. kept it close against Alabama. I said, "they did if you consider three touchdowns close." Get your head out of your arse.

They had 4 turn overs in the redzone, starting a freshman qb in tuscaloosa aka the toughest place to play in the sec, yes over death valley..
wait till alabama plays in happy valley.

Penn State beat us in 2005 when we should have won 24-0(best team in the country that year, better than texas)
