Non-troll Serious Thread: Why Is Everyone Suddenly Flipped to Saying Lane 2 UF

Been trying to fix my AC all morning, figured it was the inside fan motor, but no dice. Just threw in the towel and called a tech to get skinned for $750. I wash up and see sentiments on twitter and this board suddenly acting like Lane to UF is a done deal.
Haven't seen any news after a cursory search, whats the deal here? Any news drop to motivate this change in sentiment?

Suddenly seeing people saying this everywhere. From a family perspective, Layla is a UF grad, maybe she wants to go back to Florida with their kids.

It's always made sense. UF is a big job, a brand with no ceiling, and it's the type of program that would benefit from the attention a lightning rod like Lane would bring after a parade of boring coaches.
To the credit of Ole Miss, they're good enough now that a lot of jobs better than OM might not be worth the jump. And if there are 10-15 that definitively are, only a few probably hold any appeal to Lane. Only a few have openings on the horizon.
I really don't see anything but a big west coast job, UF, Texas or Bama making much sense for Lane.
