I for one, in all honesty and being lifelong Alabama, and SEC fan would hate to see LSU lose CLM. That guy has big personality, big heart too.
As far as being a coach you will NEVER find a better Coach than CLM, you guys only lose 1 or 2 games a year in the SEC, and that is a great record. CLM, just needs to change things up a bit concerning Alabama, Arky. Take Bye Week at different time.
Changing Coaches is not the answer, and IMAO y'all would be FOOLS to let him get away, and are fools for complaining about winning seasons.

They really don't deserve CLM. I hope if CLM loses job, he can go to a school that will appreciate him. Of course they complained about Saban too. Yes, you will hear us (Bama) fans make fun of LSU, but its all in good fun, and comes after listening to the kitties talk smack worst than any other team, and also we have to listen to them complain about CLM year in year out.
The fans are 90% delusional on their expectations. Being a Bama fan, I have zero expectations, we just focus on and want to win the game we are playing from week to week. We don't expect to have great season, but hope for one. LSU has expectations way too high.

This. You see that ghostly apparition floating behind LSU's shoulder? That is the spirit of Nebraska football being a national power.
Why look, there is Ken Hatfield about to be driven away from Arkansas because of his overbearing boss. I wonder how the coaching trifecta of Crowe, Kines, and Ford worked out for the Hogs? Surely they were able match Hatfield's multiple conference titles and 55-17-1 record.
By all means, fire Miles. You might get lucky.

well said - I live in Baton Rouge - 30% of the fan base has never got over Saban - he is the best coach in the country - so start with that
next - Saban went to Bama - they can't get over that
there only hope is our new coach beats Nick
it all starts and stops with this
not that hard to figure
and the stupid Arky fans can't figure out that playing Lsu after losing to Bama is core to losing to the pigs
Arky has one thing going in that sorry program - they get to play Lsu the following week of the Bama game
the Pigs need to ask why - after all these years
No Sec Flags flying - you have no hardware 0 none

Your tears nourish us. But it did get me to thinking about something. Let us take a look at two teams who played Bama this year, very different programs mind you. Ole Miss and Arkansas, one who beat Bama and one who didn't. Now, by your... err... logic, then both of those teams, so demoralized from having to the play the mighty Tide, must have gone into a tail spin the next week and...
Oh wait, my bad, both teams won their next game. Hunh. Its almost like both of those, very different teams, didn't collapse after the game.
In fact teams that played Bama have gone 5-4 in their next games. Gosh, I wonder what those teams had that LSU did not? Well other then fans that don't start leaving in the third quarter.

And therein lies the problem. If Les would make 180-degree changes (hell, 45- or 90-degree changes, really) at coordinator, then I think most of the fanbase would be behind him. But as obvious as a tweaking has been in order for years now, Les refuses to do it. And then the inevitable winds up happening on the field, and the fanbase is up in arms again and again.
And as successful as Miles has been at LSU, he still suffers from the stigma of underachievement because of the vast stockpile of talent assembled on the team. It's kind of a catch-22 because he's a victim of his own recruiting success yet he doesn't last at LSU if he's not able to attract so much talent.
