No it doesn’t. You have 6 teams to play in your division and 7 in the other. Won’t work without at least 1 permanent opponent.
If you’re going with a 10-game conference schedule, in order for it to even out is to go 6+1+3, which would enable every school to visit and host every other school every four years
I had not factored in the Permanent Crossover game, if that means a lot to you, then yeah 6-1-3 is the way to go
Smart catch with the permanent crossover, but with 6-4 scheduling, permanent crossovers might not be necessary because with 4 games from the other Division, you will "cycle through" frequently enough to not miss the permanent crossovers, I'm too lazy to do the Excel Spreadsheet, but playing 4 from the other side will give your conference a better overall slate of games to offer the fans
Has the permanent crossovers of Bama & Tennessee been worthwhile for the last 15 years?
6-1-3 is cool with me, but 10 Conference Games is the main thing--- each team plays every opposite Division Team at least twice during a player's normal eligibility

Your school in the SEC? I see that your school quit the SEC!
Why are you posting your comment(s) here about what SEC should do?

Good thing your school will not participate in a game with Georgia this year! Bye Bye!

Don't you just love it when QUITTERS try to preach?

Scrap the divisions. No permanent opponents let’s finally get this right. Top 2 teams play a championship game. No divisions guarantees that the 2 best teams are playing for the championship.

That's one of the best reasons for changing the schedule. For example, South Carolina joined the SEC 28 years ago. AU has played at Williams-Bryce exactly twice: in 2006 and again in 2011. We're not scheduled to return there until 2021.
That is absolutely insane. We definitely need to change it.

THE best solution would be to drop the 4 newest teams and play a 9 game SEC schedule with the remaining 10 teams.

UF @ UT - not really
UGA @ UT - not really

UT @ ALA - it’s been a bloodbath for so long now
AU @ LSU - not really
UF vs UGA @ Jacksonville - sometimes

It’d be cool if I were to post in a sec thread without you chiming in with almost (Notice how I didn’t say ‘literally’)no knowledge of the sec, which is understandable, being a recent addition (yet non contributor).
Are you a Sarge alter? Very similar Pointless replies points me to; yes, possibly because your efforts to flame end up making you look like a complete fool.

It would be cooler if you didn’t post all. Hope that helps

Play
6 on your side
4 on the other side.
1 out of conference which must be from 5 power conference team.
No permanent game.

Well now.
Talk about a one-trick pony. This is all you know to do.
You and sausage get the triggers a bit too easy. Simps, as usual.
Seek help
Or don’t.

Ha ha. That’s a shame you got bitch slapped right out of the gate. Nobody cares about regional games.

You must still be reeling when I facilitated you dismantling yourself back in the usc vs Aggy program thread.
You shot yourself in the foot and haven’t stopped Being triggered since.

Only in your little mind. Sorry you don’t agree with my opinion on what games the country actually cares about. No need to cry about it. It’s embarrassing for you

Funny how you assume I’m crying when your little mind is triggered by an sec competition reply thst doesn’t include you.
What a triggerEd lil bitch.
You are literally begging to be accepted when no one cares about your tantrum. Anything that doesn’t include your team is an affront to you.
Calm your tits.

It's broken af.
Expansion broke it.
Before expansion, we played the rotating teams from the other division twice out of every five years. You went to Nashville and Gainesville every five years.
And what did we get in return for said expansion?

You got an SEC Network with an additional 9 million cable TV households.
