So... now that the 2008 class is down to 25 recruits in class, doesn't Bama fall to something like #8 in the recruiting standings and no National Championship of Recruiting??? That should belong to Notre Dame, Florida or Ohio State.

They've lost FIVE four-star recruits so far and a 3-star and a 2-star now count back to the 2007 class.

And I have even more damaging information.

It seems that 19,000 fans actually left the 07 Spring Game early, and according to the NCAA rules concerning Spring Games, they have to stay until completion, or the attendance figures are invalid.

So that is a SECOND 07 national championship that doesn't count.

From what I can tell, the 1970s still count, so they still have that.

I thought the recruiting national championship (I cant believe I just said that) didnt mean anything? Hmmmm, it must mean something since this is the 5th thread i've seen in the last two days about Bama no longer being able to claim it!

The funniest thing I saw in Tuscaloosa was the sign in the window of the t-shirt shop that said, "We now carry size 6XL!"

OSU should get the recruting national title cause they haven't been able to get the job done the last few years on the field

And we got Pryor, Adams, Brewster, Shugarts, Posey......all 5 star athletes

Rivals will not change it because if affects their own credibility since other boards did not rank Bama with the #1 Recruiting class. Rivals still shows Bama #1 with 32 recruits. What a joke. The only thing Bama has had to rejoice about and it's a fraud too.

What gets me is why everyone is watching Bama and its numbers. Is anyone watching the other school's to see how many they lost? Someone check those stat and post those.

you seem to be misinformed. Rivals will update their rankings next month based on who actually made it to campus. And Scout also had Bama ranked no. 1, and by a pretty wide margin, I might add. I'm not braggin on Bama's no. 1 class, but there's also no reason to hate on it just out of spite
