name ONE dominant team then.

Name one dominant team LAST year.

And don't even THINK about saying bammer... DOMINANT teams don't need a blocked field goal to beat a horrible Tennessee team and a final minute drive to beat an average Auburn team.

Bama. We played TWO teams somewhat close... dominant teams beat the frick out of nearly everyone on their schedule. We did that.

Doesn't mean you can't have a down game. You know we were dominant last year, and I know we were dominant. Honestly, you're just trying to blame shift or something... i don't know what it's called, but you're definitely not being real if you don't think Bama's team last year was thoroughly dominant.

They dominated a lot of football games last year. You just conveniently brought up 2 out of the 14 they played. They dismantled Florida in the SECCG and Texas is the BCSCG

look at our defensive stats at year's end and our offensive stats. look at our drives... look at our play calling... EVERYTHING lined up last year.

you're right though, we deserved to lose that UT game though... for sure.

but we beat auburn's arse. y'all couldn't even move the ball on us last year.

If you go 14-0, most of the time there is a tough game along the way

I still haven't seen one. There's none in the SEC, Auburn simply doesn't have the defense to be considered a great team, their fans would admit that. Just too many issues offensively for LSU to be called one, plus there's always Les.

Oregon always gets overhyped because people love flashy offenses. Oklahoma is nowhere near great. OSU is just OSU, solid but by no means great. I don't really know much about Michigan State but I'm not sure anyone really thinks they're a great team.

This is definitely the year for Boise or TCU, because I would be very surprised if there were two undefeated BCS teams at the end of they ear. I'd be kind of surprised to see one.

Um... i swear to God it's not trying to hook your dumbass in this thread. other than 3 or so plays that went 60+ yards and a successful onsides kick... you explain to me how auburn even looked remotely worthy to be on the field with us?

The '09 Bama team might be the most forgettable national champs ever, fwiw.

The Tennessee game where you didn't score a touchdown was on national tv. You hardly looked dominant against them and Auburn, also on national tv.

And Texas' backup qb took you to the wire. Needless to say, when people think of the 09 Bama team, they just say, "Meh," and go on with their day.

No team has dominated a schedule like Bama did last year since the Miami Hurricanes of 2001.

no offense, but you really come off as a biased Bama hater with that post. if you don't know what kind of team Bama was last year, you are either severely biased/hated filled, ignorant to football, or in denial.

unfortunately, i'm real enough to say with the drop off on defense, we're no where near as good as last year. doesn't mean if we make it through undefeated and win a good bowl game that we aren't very good... but we're not a "great" team by any stretch.

Almost everyone last year said that the reason why Alabama did so well was because the SEC was having a "down year".

This year, the SEC looks ugly. There are only 3 decent teams this year: LSU, AU, and Alabama. The rest are sketchy. But because LSU and AU are undefeated, both sides will most likely say the SEC isn't having a down year at all.

Looks like the SEC can only have a down year when Alabama's winning.

And most likely, everyone who tries to remember when Arkansas was a good football team will eventually collapse into a coma and drown in their own drool.

Hey, I can make shite up, too. Look at that.

Your post has a tinge of butthurt in it.

Because our defense stone-walled your bitch of a Heisman Trophy running back.

And because the friendly officiating that AU got this last weekend against Arky was provided to YOU last year in the AU/bammer game when the refs observed about 3 consecutive obvious pick-plays on your final drive to convert critical 3rd down conversions.

And because Auburn didn't get 3 60+ yard touchdowns because bammer's defense was on the sideline getting hydration... we got them because we SCHOOLED THE frick OUT OF YOU on those plays.

"Dominant" my pasty white arse.
