Controlling NIL will be a cluster f***! They should have nipped this in the bud before ever rolling it out!

I think it's probably a good thing for the players. But for the rest of us...not so great.

I'm not a fan of the NIL, but I don't think we need to worry about players getting paid by Russia to put their logo on Russian Bombers.

So, UCLA says play here and make 20K a month vs.
Nebraska being able to pony up 2 dollars.
Is that how this is going to work?

These kids are about to find out what the letters IRS mean. And if you thought the transfer portal was bad before, just wait. A lot of mid tier programs are going to lose their best players.

They have classes on how to handle everything from interviews, PR, etc. They'll just add more to cover the basics of taxes.

That’s something that was going to happen organically anyway. UCLA is in a hot bed and offer as much as anyone in the country. Nebraska is in the middle of nowhere & forfeited their most successful recruiting ground.

I'm inclined to believe what you say. Poaching players will be so easy. Players will be on the portal for bigger paydays. We'll see.
