NIL in basketball…Is college basketball ruined?

Everybody’s been focused on buying players in football, but what about the effect of NIL on basketball? Programs that have alumni willing throw a few million at the basketball roster each year are going to have an almost unbeatable advantage. Kentucky reportedly spent $2,000,000 to keep Tshirbwa. The top basketball recruits are getting massive deals.
Anyone worried that this kills college basketball?

Where are all the Arkansas fans I have seen who were worried about the future of college football?

What are you saying? They are coming to Fayetteville on their own volition because it’s heaven on earth and Muss is basically a deity.

Kentucky didn't use that to lure him to Kentucky. He earned that with a NPOY performance last year. I'm sure guys like UNC's Bacot will sign similar deals.

This is no different then pre-NIL. It's just now out in the open.

Nope. Case in point, when SDSU transfer Baylor Scheierman was demanding X money to play at a major school (and we were all recruiting him), the big schools said frick that and backed out. He ended up at Creighton as a result. That's how you shut that shite down.

Aren't all the 5 stars arkansas signed actually from Arkansas and one on a couple miles from the border of Arkansas? and Musselman is probably the best coach in college hoops to get them to the NBA considering his background. I'm sure Arky has an excellent NIL program as well, but they probably hid it better than yall did or did it legally.
