That's a tough one!!! Probably (eventually) the mountains of east TN or north GA. But there are lots of places I enjoy and could be persuaded to live. It would definitely be south. But I'd visit the coast of Maine every few years.

I was able to turn a profit on two Panama City properties. I recently lost out on a foreclosure in Orange Beach that seemed too good to be true and I hesitated by a day

Savannah is my favorite place in the southeast. I grew up in the Destin/Niceville area, and to be honest, there's not a lot on the panhandle anymore that isn't geared towards tourists

My grandpa had an opportunity to buy a 3 bedroom highrise unit on the beach in the middle of Destin for about 100k back in the 80s. He didn't do it because back then Destin was nothing. A unit in the same building today costs well over a million. He always regretted not buying it.
