I would totally be all in favor of Saban replacing Stankey as SEC commissioner....not that that would happen, but if it were teed up for the voting public rather than a select few to hire a new commissioner, Saban would be my only choice.
Or give him a new role as college football commissioner. I know he would turn it down, but Stankey needs to go...I am quite sure there is a much more qualified person to replace him.

What makes you think Sankey is going somewhere? I haven't heard anything like that.

It would be so much worse for LSU.
Greg Sankey doesn't give one single wet shite about LSU, one way or the other.
Nick Saban on the other hand? Well he straight up hates LSU, and we know this because of how well he did his part in afflicting them with Lane Kiffin.
Not to feed the constant hunger of the LSU persecution complex, but the fact of the matter is this. If Nick Saban became Conference Commissioner, all of the REC/SEC Birmingham bullshite you all cling to would become a reality.
He would frick with your fanbase for the sheer sport of it.
Make no mistake about it, mud ducks. Nicholas Lou Saban is all Alabama, all the time.

I respect Saban.- Big Ten has a track record of running MLB and TV networks
Like why aren't we looking for someone who can negotiate a contract and manage a league and has the relevant experience?
