Nick Saban's career coaching record is 145-54-1. This is a truly remarkable achievement considering he coached at Toledo, Michigan State, a weak(when he arrived) LSU program, and a weak (when he arrived) Alabama program. He is currently 54-12 during his time at Alabama after taking over an abysmal program. When Saban arrived at LSU in 1999 the program had been unranked for over 2 years and was near the bottom of the SEC... he won a National Championship there also. Les Miles inherited a gold mine from Saban at LSU and has continued the success there. Saban is one of the top 10 coaches of all-time

Saban: 145-54, 6-6 in bowls

Fulmer: 152–52, 8–7 in bowls

Firing Fulmer and hiring Kiffin and Dooley has to be the dumbest decision in the history of SEC football.

He's good, but so many people don't even consider him the best coach in the game today. How can he be the "Greatest"? I'll answer that for you, he's not.

In college football? Who is? Urban Meyer? No.

The man can coach, but he inherited a ton of talent at both LSU and Bama. He got those talented players to work together and he improved the talent at both schools.

We could've went. If LSU would've lost that UT game Les would've been fired, LSU would not have beaten Bama, and we would still have our swagger when we played Auburn. If a 1 loss Bama beat an unbeaten Auburn, and then went on to revenge the USCe loss, we would play for the title. However there is no way of knowing if that would've worked out.
