Anybody with half a brain knew this exact scenario was coming. What difference does it make when (or even who) pays a college player now? Breaking a “rule”? You can’t stop a group of “investors” pooling their funds buying players.
They are paid athletes now and I hope every player on all the teams make out like bandits. The NIL is a crock of shite - but it’s the new way.
Saban needs to keep his mouth shut on anything other than coaching. He just can’t help himself.
