NIL and buying players will destroy college football. I already lost a lot of interest. I stopped watching pro-football years ago and only followed college. Now? What is the point? It is pro-football.

I don't think it's a bad thing at all. Every school has been paying ayers forever now....the NCAA has just turned a blind eye to certain coaches and programs.
There is about to be much more parity in CFB again. Teams with great NIL resources like A&M and Tennessee will emerge as powerhouses. Ofcourse Saban isn't happy. I bet ole bowl cuts feels ghe same exact way.

Tennessee has resources? It hasn’t been that long since UT was hundreds of million of dollars in debt and begging money from the SEC

You guys really believe everything you read don't you? We have tonnes of wealthy alumni ready to throw huge amounts of money. Tennessee has never had problems financially...we have just had terrible athletic directors until recently.

This list means nothing if you know anything.

You must be very young. Y’all were over 200 mil in debt not that long ago. Begging the SEC for money and got turned down.

Just because we requested money doesn't mean we didn't have the resources to get it. Our AD department was incredibly greedy and incompetent.

Alabama is not going to suffer. A&M is. What player wants to go to a bizarre school that has been called out for buying players.

They weren't bought--they were rented and Jimbo will treat them like I treat rented cars. You don't want one after it's ruined.

Apparently the best ones do based on the most recent recruiting class

People just don't get it. This was a shot across the bow by Saban. Now that you don't have to hide that you are buying teams...Bama's getting ready to pull out the checkbook. He was giving the conference a warning shot.
The REC approves this message.

They’ll be like a bad NFL team. High dollar payroll, players who care more about money than winning, and an expensive mediocre coach past his sell by date.

If you don't think that UGA grads and friends of UGA don't have money, you are out of your gourd. Same for Florida, FSU, and Miami.
The po-dunks like Tennessee are going to be bottom feeders along with most of the SEC.
USC, Michigan, Notre Dame, OSU will also have plenty of cash. The rich are going to get richer... along with a few never-befores like T&M who now can buy players.
I am still quickly losing interest. I am really glad we got our championship before this NIL crap really took root. I guess I will have my fall Saturday's free like I now gratefully have my Sundays.

Wouldn't be a Gay&M post without homosexuality involved.... These broke back mountain weirdos need to leave the SEC & join the Packed 10

Everything comes down to sex for this homoerotic crowd. Doesn’t matter what is being discussed almost everything the Aggies post has a sexual element
