If you don't want to win a NC, and don't want high expectations put on you and everything that comes with those two things, but want a really good salary with security, then Mississippi State is a better job than LSU.

How good a job is depends more on what the coach desires for his career. If you desire a NC, then places like Auburn, Florida State, Florida, Wisconsin, Virginia Tech and Aggy are better jobs than State and Kentucky.

If you want to attempt to build a dynasty then LSU, Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State, Oklahoma and Texas are the better jobs to accomplish that.

And if you just want to make good money doing what you love, but don't need to win it all to feel like a success, then programs like Wake Forest, State, Colorado and Stanford are better jobs.
