At least this list left off Less. That gives it some credibility since most people can see that he has really held some of the best LSU teams in history back.

The fact that les miles is not on that list is an absolute joke. Les Miles makes less poor in-game decisions than Saban.

Shaw won the rose bowl, lost the rose bowl and went 7-5. Their defense will regress again this year. Offense will be better but not good enough. Harbaugh was the reason Shaw looks good.

And losses six out of every nine times they play each other. Less hasn't beaten Saban since 2011.

Guess you were living under a rock in 2014. Your sphincter was tightening in your seat for most of that game.

Maybe I'm missing something here but Alabama beat LSU in 2014

LSU had them beat. That is what matters. The poster "tuscaloosa", when asserting that Miles has lost 4 straight to Bama, is implying that Leslie is out of his league. 2014 proved him wrong.

6 losses in to Saban in 8 years is not in the same league.

wins and losses are empty, hollow statistics. They don't show what is really going on down there. Les knows his stuff just as well as Saban. Somebody has to win and somebody has to lose, and in a conference like the SEC, that outcome is beyond any head coach's control.

Um....No. He has a worse record and a losing bowl record. You're wrong.

Art Briles at No. 3?

89-62 with 0 championships

vs.

131-50 with 1 National Championship in a much harder conference

You can not like the guy all you want but you can't argue with his stats

The jury is out on Shaw. His team regressed each year.
The Jury is about ready to return with a verdict.

Shaw is a 2015 version of Mike Archer. Took over a Championship program and is slowly but surely dismantling and taking it down. Only a matter of time before the inevitable goes down.....

I think Gus should be rated higher

Objectively, after 2 years at AU and 3 years overall as a HC I'm fine with Gus at 12. I'd put Gus ahead of Shaw who I think rode off Harbaughs coattails his first few year, but other than that I have no problem with that. Pinkel, Snyder, and Cutcliffe all built their programs from nothing and do it all with under the radar recruits. Same with Briles. Everybody else has been very consistent and very good. I have faith in Gus to keep it up and rise through the coaching ranks, but for now his place on that list is justified.

So that is your rationale? Less is as good as Saban because the head coach has nothing to do with wins and losses? That somebody has to win and somebody has to loss? It's just a roll of the dice and it is just luck that Saban has beat Less 6 times in 8 years? The 9-6 anomaly was a long time ago, and Saban has beaten Less 4 times in a row since the. And this year will make 5. You can call 20-13 luck. I call it clutch.

Do you remember Baylor before Briles? There was a time in my life I didn't think it was possible for Baylor to have a ranked team and couldn't even remember a Baylor team that had a shot at a winning record.

What he's done at Baylor is more impressive than what Cutcliffe has done at Duke.

Les Miles isn't a top 15 coach. He's an offensive coach that consistently fields bad/inept offenses.
