That is all fair. I don't think it is fair to compare JFF to Wilson and say Wilson was more polished and such because JFF was just a freshman this past year and has a lot of time to "polish" before the NFL would be there.

This. Article is dumb and premature. Let's let the next season play out. I don't think he'll turn heads like he did last year, but it's only fair to let the next season play out before judging his future NFL career off of his freshmen season in college. Dumb article is dumb.

Not getting into the whole NFL prospect debate, but I can't fathom why everyone continues to label JFF as the second coming of Randall Cunningham.

Yes, he led the SEC in rushing. He also led the SEC in passing yards/game and completion percentage. He was 4th in TD passes, and of those four, only 3rd in interceptions.

So where does the "not a polished passer" come from? Because if he "lacks polish," the rest of the SEC blows big time.

Neither did Kaepernick, Wilson, or RGIII. JF has game, bottom line.

Does he have things he needs to refine to be a baller at the next level? Well frick of course he does, the kid's in his 2nd yr of college.

My main thing with him is he needs to add abo 15-20 lbs of muscle even if that means losing a hair of agility/speed. The tradeoff will be well worth it.

As for wanting JM to fail, many here got sick of all you aggies shoving him down our throats like he was a god. And that BS started half way thru the season. But then consider as well, how many here hate Tebow, bama fans leading the pack. And Tebow is nothing like JM in either his attitude or approach to life in general. If that kid can be so strongly disliked, then JM is easy pickings because of his own actions, none of which are really that bad to be honest.

JFF is much bigger than Flutie, and more athletic.

He'll be a first round pick unless he derps.

Don't need to read the article to know that.

Yeah, he's what 5'8". Not an NFL QB size at all, not even close.

I think 5'10 to 5'11 is much more realistic.

Well Flutie was listed @ 5'10, so he was probably 5'9

Manziel is bigger.

But not big enough. Aaron Murray is 6'1 and everyone complains about his height when talking about the NFL. JFF is 5'10-5'11.

He looked about 6 even last time I saw him... I'm 6'3 and he was taller than I genuinely expected...

His dad grew 4 more inches In college

Plus he wears a size 15 and apparently has baseball mits for hands...

What's the rant going to do when he completes over 70% (68 last year) this year? Hell with the schedule he could go for 75%.
