Be my guest if you guys want to accept the current format that essentially gives the other conferences auto-semifinal berths if they can produce a 1 loss or better team despite hardly any competition.

So, the alternative is giving even more teams a playoff bid who haven't played any competition?

There isn’t enough parity in College Football to justify an expansion

This really is inarguable. The ONLY possible justification for a college football playoff expansion in my view is due to the rapidly eroding legitimacy of other non-playoff bowls (even so called NY6 bowls). With the constant opt outs these bowl games are becoming must miss TV all too often. If we went to, say 12 teams, you would have full rosters competing, but not more competitive games when it comes to the best teams.

The NFL has parity

CFB does not.

The leagues aren’t even remotely comparable

I would suggest it’s proof D1 football needs to contract.

You have posted this garbage a few times on here and no one cares.

However most on here see an expanded playoff is not needed so if you want to give A&M the credit for killing it, we will take it. Thanks Sooner!
