Hell, Tiger Stadium looks better than that piece of shite even with our broken windows(which are being replaced, supposedly) and old arse concrete. I hate the gumps as much as the rest but Neyland doesn't come close to BDS.

I hate bama more than anything but WOW bds looks beautiful. Very well done. I sure wish they could close in the upper bowl at tiger stadium.
And wow neyland does look like a kindergartener's erector set

That shite looks like 60K prison workers on a construction project.

in the SEC and the 3rd largest in the Nation.
Now if only 2/3 of your concourse areas didn't look like something from a derelict building or a dystopian vision of the future, a'la Robocop.
Neyland is the biggest let down of a road trip I've ever taken. All those years of seeing it on TV sure set me up for a lot of disappointment (kind of like being a Georgia fan).

There are some internal discussions in Tuscaloosa to make the bench seating spaces more narrow and add a few thousand more people.
I wish they would round file that idea.

Only thing Neyland has going for it is your location to the GSMNP, but your stadium sucks balls.

I know I'm in the minority here but I actually was impressed with Neyland. Not in the architecture per se but just the amount of fans that cram in there, all that orange and how loud it was.
People who say it isn't loud haven't been there when UT was winning. I literally couldn't here the guy next to me when Jamal Lewis busted a 80 yard run to take the lead in the 2nd half.

Not after renovations are done. Suites all the way around, jumbotrons on both ends, brick all the way around, renovated concourses all the way around.
You forgot about the shitty exterior.

Neyland ? Great place! The sterile erector set outside is the perfect mood setter for the giant craphole sardine can that awaits you inside. Find your one-and-a-half butt cheek seat, lean foward to avoid shoulder fusion, try to adjust to the knee massage from the person behind you....and you sit there in your fetal position amazed that the Orange Hillbillies have tolerated these
so-called 'seating adjustments.' Best thing about Neyland is seeing the finish to another beatdown of the UThugs, trying to unfold your body (that by now has taken on the shape of Quasimodo) and getting the hell out of the place.

I think the bricks help. Plus, the majority of the concourses that have been renovated aren't seen by the opposing teams. Those won't be renovated until the final phase.

Your insane, the seats may be close I'll give you that. Tell me what else makes it that bad a stadium? It is one of the most beautiful venues in college football and to say otherwise is just haten.
i'm serious. the place is a dump. felt like it was a ghetto.

Commonwealth is smaller, but it still looks better than that dump aka Neyland.

You are on straight up acid. Neyland is a shrine of college football. Commonwealth is just a shitty house of mediocrity.

This
When UT is rolling there is no better place in America to watch a football game.

It can be electrifying and quite sedate I've seen it both ways many times. On a side not UT has WAY too many blue hairs.

I was simply talking about appearance, hillbilly. Neyland looks like shite.

It's a lot more "cooler" looking then Commonwealth also. Nothing about that place catches your eye.
Please, just stop comparing Neyland to Neyland-North.

Neyland isnt even top 3 in the SEC when it comes to atmosphere

Everyone, with the exception of Tennessee fans, thinks that Neyland is a fricking dump.
And it's an insult to UK fans to call Commonwealth "Nayland-North"
