To me the solution is to see if Mizzou/Kansas can resume and that would allow

its possible

Another interesting idea would be Miz, ARK and LSU all rotate playing each other with the odd man out playing a small instate school every 3 years

MSU, ASU, Tulane or ULL ect...

I’m down for the 2nd weekend of November after they play Alabama every year if that’s what it takes

I like it, smart thinking I would want that also if I am a fan of the opposing team playing LSU.

I agree with you in regards to the importance of the tradition we are building playing y’all, and you are correct I am sorry but even the football Gods stood up and said “Texas/TAMU” has to be played again on Thanksgiving, which is why they forced Texas to the SEC.

So we can’t have the last game with y’all, but what about making it the “1st” SEC game each year for both teams! Talk about an important game every year starting off SEC play!

If divisions win out

Texas/TAMU
LSU/Ark
OU/Missouri
Egg Bowl

OU and Missouri is an old rivalry game but it lost its significance. OU/Missouri Peace Pipe, probably wouldn't fly these days

The "rivalry" is 90-18-7. The only question is; can OU make it to 100 before OSU make it to 20

OSU's best path is to be so upset with OU, that they refuse to play OU. If they need help on how to do that, a couple of texas teams should be able to explain.

Do you know how many times Gundy would have been fired in the SEC for losing to their rival that many times?

Perhaps no better measuring stick to compare the big 12 to what's going on over here.

Didn’t y’all just start playing them during thanksgiving week a few years ago though? I thought y’all always played Tennessee for the last game until a few years ago
Yeah we did. That all got change when ATM and Mizzou joined. That's what I was saying. All of us East schools play our ACC rivalry game that weekend. Why the hell would Oklahoma not play Oklahoma State that weekend. Not sure what the Auburn guy was thinking there.

ETA: Yes, Mizzou, suck it the frick up and play Kansas already. It's a good rivalry and it'll be good for the SEC to have a Big 10 rivalry game that weekend once the Jayhawks move.

this happens then the Aggies better eat thanksgiving dinner in the morning because they won't feel much like eating later.

SEC will want last games that actually impact standings. LSU vs Texas A&M as our last game will continue. Texas will just be another opponent to kick in the arse.

No, y'all will be closing the season Texas, just go ahead get used to that idea because that's whats coming. The only thing that remains to be seen is whether they have Arkansas play LSU or Missouri. Missouri and Kansas playing again would solve all of this conflict.

If Oklahoma State decides to be butthurt and not play Oklahoma, then that will solve this issue. I'd guess they'd have Mizzou play Oklahoma and LSU play Arkansas for the Golden Boot.

Not trying to be a dick, LSU v A&M has made for some damn fine viewing these past few seasons as someone who doesn't have a horse in the race in that rivalry. But y'all are gonna be playing Texas to close the season. Saddle up.

Wow dumb even for an aggie

You have made ZERO championships games and played ZERO games against LSU that could have resulted in a Champ game appearance.

Anytime There has been an SEC west contender in the LSU-aTm game it was never the aggies

A Few decent recruiting years and 1 solid season aggies ready to declare themselves a blue blood too good to play an in-state rivalry to end the season.

Astounding stupidity

I know LSU doesn't care, but I enjoyed playing LSU after Thanksgiving for The Boot.

I would prefer we keep Aggy and I feel A&M feels the same.

Schedule Texas mid season.

Neither are we. I’d rather keep playing Arkansas than do that, but yeah...we should be playing kansas that week.

Start with Illinois, end with kansas.

OSU ain’t going to be playing you baws, sorry to say
