semotruman - yeah I know one of them Prinz is currently a verbal to UCLA but he is still taking visits and looking around. He is more of a pro-style QB whereas Hosick is more a dual-threat, so I don't know if Hosick's commitment would mean Prinz will cross us off his list or not. The other Georgia kids were a RB from Prinz's hometown (Marietta maybe?) and the other one I'd have to look up, think is a lineman. All are guys that have offers or interst from SEC schools but not from the Georgia Dawgs themselves I don't think, which probably plays a part in them looking out of state. The Dawg fans on here can hopefully correct me and fill me in more since it's their backyard.

It does echo Grambling on the yellow jersey in some ways I won't lie, but hey if that gives our band an excuse to be as epic as the Grambling band then I'm all for it.

The last one is dumb, but the first two are fine. They need to lose the dumb tiger stripes, tho.

RhodeIslandRed - by all reports the recruits aren't laughing their arses off at them though. They've been showing these things to recruits for the past few months on visits and by all accounts the kids have been loving them. So if these unis get a thumbs down from some middle aged, balding, beer swilling message board poster but get a thumbs up from some 6'5", 220 pound lightning fast wide receiver, then I think I will take that trade.

Well for one thing, Gary Pinkel tends to drink up all the beer available in Columbia prior to his fun-filled night time driving escapades, so there wouldn't be any left for said beer-swilling recruit...

I thought they were going to be ugly but I like those. They look like my old high school's uniforms, maybe that's it.

I like them alot. Saw them debuted in person today. I really like the Black jersey/ gold pants combination

That's my favorite too. They looked good on the field today. Now I'm anxious to see what the new turf is gonna look like.

Maybe so, but it doesn't look like the SECr gave you the validation you were seeking after coming here to smack talk our uniforms after Tigerboard didn't work out.

I grew up in Cape Girardeau. And I don't think you're hurting feelings, everyone's entitled to their opinion. Even if it's wrong.
Seriously, as long as they're not butt-ugly or gaudy, I don't really care about the uniforms. They don't win games.

I know Mizzou alumni who puked when they saw those uniforms. Hell they puked they they saw the uniforms that these will replace. I guess it's a generational thing.

Don't see what the big deal is. They are pretty normal uniforms to me. I like the white jersey.

Fair enough, that's probably true. I'm pretty young and I think the new ones are (mostly) pretty awesome although I loved our current/old ones too.
