It was a very classic logo. Why'd that vanish?
Jackie Sherrill's soul and the interlocking MSU logo were a package deal. Mephistopheles called in his debt.

branding rights. adidas took over and the logo belonged to Nike.
How and the hell did MSU let Nike get full rights to a school logo?
I would never see anyone having the rights to the Ole Miss script logo.
Just can't believe the school can't get the rights back.

Kids/recruits love UA
Nike is still a much larger name than UA and still more recognizable by any age group.
Now if you were to make the argument that you'd be "just another team" under Nike then I'd agree with you. Under Armour gives Auburn special attention that we probably wouldn't get if under contract with Nike.

I like how a lot of the SEC schools have separate baseball logos from the rest of their sports.
Wonder why so many schools do that? Ole Miss uses the Block "M" in baseball and on nothing else.

I'd like to know if they own the logo and all likenesses to it.
It seems like we should be able to adjust the original one to make a similar one.

From what I've heard this pretty much hasn't happened anywhere else other than MSU and was something that the AD pretty much fricked up. I don't see why they couldn't just design something similar though.

We wore under armour my first two years of high school football and then switched to Nike. I liked Nike better.

Yeah why can't we just mess with the way it winds through the "S?"
I'm gonna do that tomorrow and send it to Stricklin and be all "hey motherfricker, use this."

I was all like, I'm gonna be Vernon Davis. Then I realized I was white, 5'8, and 165.

So you're saying a lady in Jackson owns the interlocking MSU logo?

I made a mistake and yelled at some poor adolescent in the Orlando airport because that logo brought back repressed memories of castration and Wayne Madkin
