Yeah the make up is different, but not too far away from the same stereotypes though.

If we're talking stereotypes, then we share the same Ag stereotypes that get attached to any Ag school. Comes with the territory.

Makeup is everything, though. The culture of A&M is drastically different from MSU's.

Yes. But not very many are going to choose to support the second best program in the state

We're in Texas, not Alabama.

I never wore makeup in school.

There's one cultural difference.

It is a result of nothing more than TX sitting on a bunch of minerals. It isn't a reflection of its alumni contributions or corporate donor base.

I'm sorry we didn't claim a worthless swamp? It is still part of our endowment.

A couple of points for the guy who went in 1995.

1. The turf was torn up after the 1995 season and replaced with grass in time for the 1996 season. Been that way ever since.

2. After the 1997 season, the north end zone seats (one deck) were demolished and rebuilt as the "Bernard C. Richardson Zone". It made the North Endzone 3 decks like the student and alumni sides and increased stadium capacity by over 6,000. (was 77,000 when I first attended and 83,000 when I left)

3. The Bright Complex (football center) was added to the south end by the 2003(?) season.

At this point, there's really no more add-ons we can make to Kyle.

Aged. Like how Natalie Portman got a little older...hahaha, WTF?

WTF? Natalie portman? I'm not bashing your stadium. You added the endzone section 12 years ago but no other renovations to the others? Maybe the press box? I was mainly looking at the east side and what's behind it.

No one cares if you wore makeup while in drag or not--you're still in drag

That is a lot of buttpirates in only place. Is that going to be some kind record? Has to be a record of guys playing military dressup in one place.

From a purely perceptional standpoint? I guess maybe.

see, I'm not totally off base.

But no, the gap that separates A&M and MSU is filled with much more than student body size.

Well yeah a few billion dollar gaps.

I thought you were refering to CS on the whole. It's changed drastically...as has the campus at A&M.

The stadium, not so much...hence the thread.

Actually it kind of is.(no offense A&M fans) The only difference is population size.

That's quite a difference there guy. Bryan/College Station is about 10X bigger population wise than Starkville and located in close proximity to some of the biggest metro areas in the country.
It's actually not even comparable. Starkville is a cowtown.

Some people on this thread a fairly clueless.
Kyle Field is in need of major renovations and whether it is completely razed or partially razed, it will be close to having a completely brand new stadium. We aren't spending that kind of money for fun, its out of necessity.

Why in the world would we not expand the stadium quite considerably? I dont actually think we will go over 100K initially, but it will be in the upper 90Ks for sure. Our alumni base is and will continue to grow astronomically. Demand is only going to increase.

Some of you truly do not understand the concept of forward thinking. This is not a 5-10 year decision or some phased expansion project. This is a 50 year decision.

WTF is wrong with you people?
Is the mean age over here M=14.5 years?
I'm serious. I don't think I've ever seen anything like it.
If you're going to be a dick, at least be funny. Buttpirates? Dork on, big guy.
