It has been stated many times, Cam left to get a fresh start. I’m sure UM helped push him out the door, but his track record would suggest otherwise. Either way, Cam knew it would be two years before any playing time. By transferring he had options.

Considering Cam's track record as a model citizen and active supporter of non-profits in the areas he resides (Blinn, Auburn, Carolina) since leaving Florida...maybe he left Florida because while immature he instinctively knew it was a toxic environment under Urban. When you are that age you don't always know why you make the choices you make but sometimes your "gut" feeling guides you correctly.

I thought Cam was bumped to 3rd string behind that shitty UF legacy qb. Can’t remember his name but that was my understanding as one of the reasons he left. He didn’t make the news until AU was kickin errbody’s arse with QB run right /left.

Actually it's the opposite. Mueller found 140 contacts between Russia and the Trump campaign and 10-14 instances where Trump committed a felony after the fact. There are 3 people convicted of felonies related to lying about their connections and involvement with Russia including Retired General Michael Flynn. Others were taken down in the process by their other crimes...think tax evasion and Al Capone...it didn't exonerate him from all the murders he ordered.

Are you really suggesting that environment didn't have anything to do with it? They had a fricking murderer playing TE for them. He was a model citizen after leaving Gainesville. If buying a stolen laptop was the worst thing he did, he was better off than a lot of that team.
