I think we agree on everything except making fun of them. My wife is a USCe fan so I don't wanna be too hard on them.

Because Spurrier broke the record for wins. They painted over Joe Morrison's name. They also replaced Kenny McKinney with Alshon Jeffery because he broke the career receptions record.

nah, because they could counter with UCF. i did Utah because Utah was another very good MWC team and i figured that with mutual misery we could remember this thread is about making fun of south carolina, not each other

Before the year 2000, we didn't have a history.

Sorry for being proud.

It was partly Spurrier's idea to paint the ramps and honor past accomplishments. Before it just looked kind of dull with just big concrete ramps and a Gamecock on them. Its not the norm, but it is kind of unique that we put up individual stat records. Even one of our recruits thought it was awesome that his dad was painted on the ramp for tackles (I think) but it gives the stadium a little more character than a blank wall

Of course we had a couple flash years, 1984 being a good example. But it's lost in another 90 years of suck and mediocrity.

We're going to do shite like this, and we're going to be proud of it. It's exciting for us.

Great post man. I assume this is the first 11 win season of each club. Got to start somewhere, for SCar it's 2011. Congratulations to Gamecocks.
