No doubt, Murray wasn't paying attention. When on the field your head should STAY on a swivel. However, I have done the same thing. After a really bad play you lose focus for a bit, and that is when it gets dangerous. Murray admitted that he should have been paying attention, and as far as I know, never complained about the hit. So, why should I?

Come on. Notre Dame was a layup.

And the one before ...y'all got a mulligan.

ESPN outright campaigning for Alabama over Okie St.

Good grief.

Saban will be gone one day. And Alabama will be back to the Mike Shulas of the world, or maybe that guy that got caught with the panties on his head, or maybe y'all will just go back to buying players like Albert Means

Didn't see it....but seriously? What exactly do you think goes on under a pile up? have you ever played football?

Yep which I why I find all the hand-wringing over the Dial hit so ridiculous

Actually no. I realize that a whole lot worse goes on at the bottom of a pile. Shouldn't. But it does.

I like Murray, and I wouldnt have been upset if they would have called it, but I don't think it was as blatantly missed as everyone says, and I wouldnt have had a problem with it if it was the other way around.

Different. As I said, had it happened to your guy there would have been hand wringing galore. Hits like that can cost a championship.

Can you honestly say had Jones hit McCarron and brok his collarbone or something blood would not have been in the water for years to come?

So, where does this "fictitious" talk come from?

Agreed, I had no problem with the no call on the guy that poked DM's eye.

Murray is actually a pretty classy guy. My initial impression was that he would be a crybaby, but he is not like that at all.

As I said.....no harm no foul. My opinion is it should have been called, but that is my opinion. We all have one.

Uh... The OM QB was not defenseless. He was much more involved with the play than Murray, moving towards the ball carrier. H2H was called on Kiki.

Do you have a link? I see where Mingo was flagged twice for offsides in that game but no mention of H2H

You are asking me why your little prediction isnt true? Well, first off, I am not a psychic. Secondly, besides the early-mid 2000s, Alabama has traditionally been a contender most of the time.

Calls are missed all the time. hard to complain about one unless we complain about them all.....and who has time for that?

Gotta run! Have a good evening!

Murray should give Dial a big wet kiss if he sees him again.
Vinnie S was about 3 steps from putting Murray on a stretcher.
Watch the tape, he coast by just as Murray is going down.

Vinnie is the player most likely to get flagged with the new rules. He loves to light guys up on punt returns.

but EVERY defensive lineman on EVERY team would have probably done the same thing Dial did.

standard Gump attitude...everyone would have done what we did.

Says the guy who's team that produced Nick Fairleu? Dude was a stud, but don't act like he would've turned that legal cheap shot down. And I never mentioned WE, but since you did, I know everyone can't do what WE do. 3 NC outta 4 years hasn't been done much at all
