Then why is UT’s conference SOS ranked higher than Alabama’s. Are these alternative facts?
Link? What’s the average NET for their conference schedule?

I’m willing to consider alternative facts. I already said I think their schedules are comparable but based on the standings of the teams each played twice, Bama’s was a tick stronger.
Can you link your alternative facts for me? Thanks.

2nd seed in SEC tournament, so 2nd place

Maybe it's time to gracefully back out of this thread.

These two play Saturday and it is hard to believe that the loser may still have work to do.
I agree with this, though I've seen a 25 win Carolina team not make the tournament before.
I'd suggest winning out just to be sure.

SC could lose out and we will be in.

Yeah the SEC has six locks right now and State is probably one win away from lock status, and still could MAYBE get in even without another win.

I couldn't find a good link for this, so I did this myself using a calculator and basic math. All decimals rounded down.
Average CSOS based on NET
Alabama - 62
Tennessee - 72
Average NET of conference opponents played twice (5 teams)
Alabama - 33
Tennessee - 69
Average NET of only AWAY games played in conf (9 games)
Alabama - 63
Tennessee - 83
LewEvansFan is welcome to double check my work, or provide his own link to whatever facts he gathered on the subject. I'm just here to post some numbers.

Weird how both times the schools were brought in, it was expected they would elevate SEC basketball.
Arkansas held up their end of the bargain initially, but have fallen off hard.
Mizzou though...

You know you’re reaching when you bring up playing LSU twice.
Pretty sure the point is to compare it to playing Vandy twice.
