what’s your take on funnel cakes?

To be honest I don't think I've had the experience.

There has never been one piece of evidence of this other than LSU fans whining about the Auburn document

My dad taught me to throw piss balloons back in the 80's. Great memories. Pegged my first Arkansas fans on a black Friday in the 90's before Kevin Faulk and Herb Tyler ran circles around one of Arkansas' best teams in recent memory.

I believe it was copied and pasted, and changed from "Nebraska" to "LSU" by some angry Auburn super fan whose obnoxiously large tiger tail, hanging from his white pedo van was burned to a crisp by a group of LSU fans before one of the more intense games in the early 2000's.

Solid thread. Will read again.

For the record, corndogs are artery clogging greatness. I don't eat them often, but when I do I cover them in tasty condiments.

What’s crazy is someone associating the smell of fried fish with cooking corn dogs.

The fool that made the connection walking around LSU campus tailgating loves him some corn dogs

Approximately how long have you all been throwing piss

At least since I graduated in the early Oughts. I built a Piss-Balloon Trebuchet as one of my senior projects and turned it loose one fall Saturday night on a tailgate of Alabama fans. Boy were they pissed.

when did the corndog become the official snack of your university?

That's never really been a thing, but Auburn fans ripped that whole deal off from some Big 12 school( it was what they used to call Nebraska fans, or somesuch)

If and if the piss balloon thing happened it was an isolated event. People from Louisiana and more so LSU fans rarely eat corndogs. I'm pretty sure that crap started because when you walk around tailgating all the frying of foods maybe smell like corndogs. But either way it's stupid as shite but it seems to be something that has stuck now.

Your vehement defense of the narrative is admirable. Your value to the Auburn family is high. Good job!

If you try really hard as an SEC fan maybe you can appreciate that that's pretty much the story of fandom and their mythology in general.

"everyone knows this" but cant provide anything other than "everyone knows this"

The story of this original piece forever changes as well

It is because of carny impression many in your fan base give off (sweat, the cheap booze oozing from your pores, Maverick or other off-brand cigarettes, shitty sunglasses and wife beater tan lines).

It has nothing to do with what LSU fans or people from Louisiana actually eat.

With that said, while there are plenty of those people I described are in your fan base, LSU has some of the hottest women as well, so it is a trade off.

If LSU wasn't really associated with the Corndog before this, they sure were after....

I'm the same way with Salisbury steak.
Many people have only tried the salisbury steaks that are in frozen dinners. The recipe for making them is not much different from that of meatballs, with the main difference being salisbury steak patties are served with brown mushroom gravy as opposed to golf ball-sized orbs simmered in tomato sauce. Either way, the quality of the ground beef you use is what makes or breaks the recipe.
