ND should be in

Everyone is complaining about the schedule, but not any different than Bama's last year. The played 10 teams from the Power 5 Conferences and pretty good selection from those Conferences:
PAC 12: USC and Stanford
Big 10: Michigan, Northwestern
ACC: FSU, Va Tech,Syracuse, Pitt
You can say some of those teams didn't play well, but you can not say ND dodges good competition. As a ticket holder, there are many games worth seeing. Can not be said as a SEC Season Ticket holder.

No, have to be #3. First three were set, yesterday was for the #4 play in.

Problem is what looked like a good schedule historically was a cakewalk this year.
Odds of Southern Cal, Florida State, and Louisville all being below .500 at the same time?
Michigan does not leave the Big House for non conference games and it has historically made them look better than they are. I can think of at least half of the SEC schools playing ND's schedule THIS year and also being undefeated.

Except they avoid a conference championship game.
Need to be forced to join the ACC full time.

Remember the argument about FSU and Bama last year ?

The only difference between Bama’s schedule and ND’s is UGA. That’s it

ND's schedule was as bad as Clemson's, and they have slightly less caliber athletes. I'm not saying they shouldn't get in, but would they have beat Bama last night?

ND just about lost to Vanderbilt at home...
Michigan: overrated
USC: 5-7 from a weak arse pac12
5 garbage ACC teams

No, A floating schedule is much easier to play than a Conference schedule.... Teams that know you have a better chance to beat you. And the ND schedule was very weak...

UGA was destroyed by LSU, who had to have a last second FG to beat a very average AU team. The SECE was way overrated with UF and U.K. getting way too much credit.

No , but neither did UGA. Or are you arguing for OSU and OU?

Based on what data?
Clemson struggled some with South Carolina, Notre Dame escaped Vandy at home. Florida, Georgia, and Kentucky throttled their ACC rivals.
Ole Miss hammered Texas Tech, LSU hammered Miami, shitty Auburn beat the Pac12 Champion....
I mean how could you possibly think the SEC is overrated?

I think Georgia is one of the four best, but the committee does have a right to leave them out with the inexcusable loss in Baton Rouge. I don't think Oklahoma is one of the four best with a 126th rated defense, but schedule wise I don't see how they are left out if Notre Dame is in. Technically they beat everyone on their schedule. Ohio State got blown out by Purdue and should not have beat Maryland. Ohio State can get bent.

You used the magic words "I think". This is very subjective so you then have to go with concrete info. Two loses vs none. Or in OU case, one loss and a Conference Championship vs two loses . I can not see much of an argument.

Auburn escaped with a win against Washington in Atlanta
See how easy that is?
