One sold something, which was unquestionably against the rules. The other accepted what he thought was legal and found out otherwise. Cooperation probably had something to do with it also. Seeing as nobody here knows what happened in both cases, 100%, it's ludicrous to think one is worse than the other when the penalizing institution says otherwise.

Dareus didn't receive 1k in cash. He received 2k in the form of hotels, car rides, food, etc.
Pretty big difference imo. I think he got off light with his 2 game suspension though.
AJ was a bit more sketchy in his answers and got the full four game suspension.
Last year, Jerrell Harris had 2 games added onto his 4 game suspension because he initially lied to NCAA investigators.
So you think they aren't doing things similarly, but you are wrong. I think it's bullshite either way for all the suspensions. But whatevsky.
