I'm glad you'll admit it. The college station regional is a god dam joke. I mean, you did well enough to deserve it nd i ain't mad about it. But olying these games is a frigging formality and courtesy yonthe other three teams so they technically could say they ma

I don't know what's more laughable. Your post, or the fact that it was edited at least once to get it THAT good.

So brutal.
The announcers discussing what they had for breakfast.
Games like these are when they earn their pay.

This sucks. I've been avoiding commenting because I'm not comfortable being a tragedy proxy -- that is, I'm unhappy about the drowning and think it's really tragic for his family and for the team, but I don't have the right to get condolences. I never met him and haven't suffered personally. That said...

...we've been hot and cold all season. I've no doubt losing Everett like that hurt the team. Still, I don't think we were going to repeat our trip to the CWS regardless. We just haven't been nearly as good on the diamond as we were on paper. Wish it hadn't ended like this but that's just how it goes.

No doubt.
Not sure they could've picked a worse place for BBQ.

Agreed on all counts (not just the quoted part). No one in the Nashville regional is getting by Louisville, anyway.

A&M has been blasting shite lately, but I'll be curious to see how they hit in Omaha.

Historically, big hitting teams really struggle in that ballpark.

They're certainly getting the job done with line drives tonight though. Those tend to work anywhere.

As am I.
We've struggled there under Coach Childress.

Not really a home run hitting team. Just solid hitters all the way through the lineup.

Not sure how many pitchers this makes for Wake tonight, but it's a bunch.
