Coach was a total douchebag and has been coming off as a jackass all tournament.

Blue ran him a little too quickly but the Coach shouldn’t have put himself in that position.

Listen to Jays comments from the prior game about the need to show restraint and return to the dugout rather than argue the HBP.

Correct, he said something along the line of vaguely hearing a warning, then clearly hearing another to his 1b coach. So the first one was to him. Then he left the dugout to argue balls and strikes. He was asking for it, now will not own it. I think it was either intentional or was to fire his team up, as they are some emotions jerk wagons. Getting both run was probably a bit of a shock.

Yeah, the umps would not have gotten out of the stadium if roles were reversed

Jay was arguing a call the day prior and was warned, so he went back to the dugout.

Again, name a championship game where this happened?

I can't, I've never witnessed a coach behave that way before. Most are smarter.

No amount of words in a game of that magnitude should get you tossed in the 1st.

It's a terrible look for the NCAA and makes you wonder if the ump wasn't under the influence of sports gambling.

Maybe it's a little of both. A coach who completely shite the bed and failed his team and his school on the biggest possible stage because he has no self-control AND an umpire who might have considered breaking the rules for this coach because of the enormity of the moment.

But as we saw from the press conference, this coach may have a SERIOUS issue with anger and accountability. As a leader of men, you have to LEAD, not put your anger and ego above the men you lead.

1 person in the country wonders this, and they post here. Odds are pretty slim for that to happen.

Listen when you’re 1st base coach has been warned, and then you get warned and then you come out to get clarification and you’re told the warning is for arguing balls and strikes…

not the best time to scream at the ump about balls and strikes.

that’s exactly how you get run.

I am sure he does but most coaches have anger issues. Did you play sports ever in your life?

Name a championship game that tossed the coaches in the 1st?

Which manager of the past was arguing with the umps before the game ever started?

What you saw on TV was a very small part of what actually happened.

Don’t have to name a game because no other coach was as stupid as Schnall who probably thought there was no way they’d eject him that early in the game.

He was wrong and so are you!

PS. Wes Johnson is a douche for letting Georgia players look like morons with unbuttoned shirts.
