The sticking point is going to be what the signing limit is.
I think they should bump back up to the old limit of 28 and possibly to 30 just to accommodate the new transfer rules.

Bama may have to up the anty to keep qb's. I think that is where the biggest impact will be.

Well I'm not addressing WilliamT stupid post. You on the other hand, I'm very surprised by lack of knowledge about LSU QB room.

Brennan is Redshirt jr. Started last year before getting hurt.

Johnson is a sophomore with starts.

Finley is a sophomore with starts.

LSU brings in a 5 star QB in 2022.

Likely 2 of those guys tranfers.

What they should do is give you a scholarship to use for every player that transfers. Tit for tat would be the only fair and responsible way to do it. The NCAA opened the door for the players, so they need to close the loop. If you think about, they would be hurting the players not to change it like that. If you don't allow schools to match their guys leaving with new scholarships, then that means fwwer scholarships available for guys sitting in the portal looking for a spot. It also means fewer spots available for incoming freshmen. If this transfer thing blows up, it could really get interesting watching programs not be able to get even close to a full 85 if they don't change course on class limits with this change.

Yeah, but this time he's going to be on the big side of the score. Someone get Henry a cigar, it's been a while.

I’d be embarrassed to pull a Butch Jones. That’s more embarrassing than losing 15 straight or whatever it is now.

Do you want embarrassment? Try going from a National Championship team, with the best head coach in college football only to inherit a dysfunctional wasteland known as Volunteer football. Let's talk to Brandon Kennedy and hear what he has to say when he finally gets out of therapy?

Sounds like a better situation than riding the bench. He’s not getting a sniff at the NFL so why spend your last days of football not playing?

That's what mid-tier teams are for.

Why does Brandon Kennedy transferring for more playing time have you rustled?

The portal is already a mess. There are numerous kids who thought they could better their situation and learned they weren't as valuable as they thought. The rich will continue to get richer, and parity will continue to disappear.

It's terrible what NCAA sports have become in the last decade

Why does Henry T finally learning how to play college football bother you so much?

Bold prediction. I highly doubt it.

He can’t drop in to coverage to save his life, bub. I feel bad for him thinking he has the talent to crack the 2 deep at Bama.

Did you watch him at all last season? He was picked on. He’s 1 dimensional.

He was still the best LB Tennessee had, which is sad. But how many 5 star LBs does Bama have on the roster?

He may have been one dimensional (I honestly don't know because I didn't review tape of UT), but he was still one of UT's best players. If Saban didn't think he could play and help the team then he wouldn't be a take for Saban. I'm sure Saban has reviewed the tape and feels good about it. That's good enough for me.

We are going to have to detox the guy, no doubt a lot of bad habits have been ingrained in 2 fruitless years on the hill. Fortunately, we're all a byproduct of our environment. A championship culture creates a championship player. Should be a fun project.

Has nothing to do with bad habits. He’s just too slow to run with any TE/slot/RB.
