I get not calling a penalty.
And I was wondering about should any player stay out a series or two if play is stopped due to them being injured. So maybe that would stop the fake injury stuff.
And my thoughts are no. Bc sometimes a player does have a real stinger or leg cramp and the team needs them back ASAP.
The game is getting overrun with rules fir everything. Calling penalties bc a defensive player is clapping is just one of the silly ones now a days. I vote for less rules that are silly.

College football: NCAA declines to add in-game penalties for fake injuries (247)
That's lame. Fake injury flops can be quickly and easily detected by the booth who can signal the on-field crew to penalize for both delay of game and unsportsmanlike conduct. Also, charge a timeout and eject HCs for repetitive injury faking. Problem solved.

Easy solution. Player sits out until change of possession. Does not have to be complicated.

Of course they don’t do anything. Now they’ll make an additional 25 targeting rules. NCCA is fricking gay

Injured players should sit as a precaution anyway.

Odd to see a bama fan go to bat for the vols here. Only a team that employs such a gimmick o to make up for their lack of quality should be mad about this.

Um, the gimmick is fake injuries…….

You would be incorrect as usual, but I wouldn’t expect a vol to acknowledge how far they have dropped. So far to where they now think their gimmick o isn’t gimmick.

You suck at this. Shouldn’t you be hiding in the soccer board or something.

Soccer game starts soon, and thankfully the gimmicky vols of these leagues often get relegated in that sport. One of the weakness’ of American sports is the lack of relegation. Give teams like Georgia state a chance.

Um, if it’s your upper body play shouldn’t stop you should get off the field.
At the very least any suspicion of a fake injury should result in a timeout being charged.
20 years ago sure. These days, with the hurry up offenses, that is impossible.

Faking an injury (typically a fake leg cramp flop) to delay the game is premeditated unsportsmanlike conduct and should be penalized. It's not that complicated. If your defense can't handle HUNH pace that's your problem to fix. Cheating isn't the solution.
