Surprised OU brought back Mercurius.

Xander Mercurius back on the bump after throwing 42 pitches on Sunday night. OU leads 8-1 top 4. Surprised by that

Goodness. Terrible review call

Mid 4 | Kansas 1, Oklahoma 8
Xander Mercurius works a 1-2-3 inning, fastball hit 96 mph
Looks like he's rested just fine

Another out caused by base running, caught stealing. That's 2 outs we handed them.
Headed to T6 still 8-1

Boom! I asked they answered. We padded 2 more with a LeChance home run. 10-1 OU

I'm sure Kansas thought they'd arrived on the scene, but they obviously have a ways to go. SEC teams are just too physically strong, and they have to be to play that gauntlet of a schedule.

If Oklahoma holds on here, it'll be the ninth straight year the SEC will have a team in the CWS Finals. The last time the conference did not make it was in 2016 when Coastal Carolina beat Arizona.
Georgia, Texas, and Alabama have not made an appearance during this stretch.
