for a HR in that situation that's about as tame as you're going to see in college baseball.

Grambling finally ends the 2nd after striking out the 11th batter.

after watching this Grambling game.. I am doubling down..

Texas - Best chance to advance
1. Game 1 - Louisiana - Throw Bullpen - W or L

2. Game 2 - Grambling - Throw Bullpen / Starter #4 - Win
2. Game 2 - Texas A&M - Throw LBJ vs Prager - L most likely

3. Game 3 - Louisiana - Throw #2

4. Game 4 - Texas A&M - Throw #1

5. Game 5 - Texas A&M - Throw #3

It's risky but I like it.

But let’s not pretend the rant wouldn’t clutch their pearls if the roles were reversed.

Especially when Bear is the one that hit it

I won't pretend that. The rant hates when other teams players get excited about anything

because Guidry walks more guys and Herring can hold their runners on base better than Guidry

No I know WHY we did it. I’m just surprised we did it considering us needing Herring as fresh as possible and Guidry pitching well to that point

you're pretty much always going to see Herring come in when we're tied or leading by 1-2 late in the game in a must win game. Regardless of who's in and how they're pitching. That's been how Jay has coached the team all year, and I can't say i disagree with it either

Do you think if the game had still been 3-1 Guidry would have been back out there then?

I think he'd have been pulled if anyone got on base in the 9th with a 2 run lead

I wonder if Schlossnagle pulls Jones if he gives up a run.
