No different than various tribes invading the territory of other tribes and taking it from them.
The Europeans actually turned this undeveloped land into a prosperous, fully functioning first world civilization that you or no single person - no matter how "guilty" they feel - would truly exchange for the primitive lifestyle the native Americans led.
Also, this wasn't technically their land either. Native Americans migrated here from Asia some 15k years ago.
