4 less picks.

Banks averages .341 picks per game
Lester averages .275 picks per game

That's good. But, we're talking bout this year.

Link? Nation's best CB is built over a career.

Try 4 less picks in 4 less games. Leave it up to a bama fan to be a mathematical moron.

Slay - .3571int/gm
Banks - .3409int/gm
Milliner - .2941int/gm
Whitley - .2857int/gm
Lester - .275int/gm
Broomfield - .2273int/gm

So what were you arguing again?

State pretty clearly has the best secondary in the SEC. Honestly the only argument I tend to hear is "BUT THAYRE JUST EMM ESS YOU LOOOOOOL"

Milliner would be a great nickleback for us.

He'd start over Banks.

Please.

He wouldn't even start over Slay.

What about the "Alabama is 1st in the nation in pass defense argument?"

If he had these stats playing Florida. South Carolina and Georgia then I would agree. Bama is playing a very weak SEC schedule this year. He is not the best in college football.

His stat line and draft stock say otherwise.

Milliner has made play after play this year. And he seems to make it look easy as hell too. I'd take him over Banks because I'v seen him more and he already plays for Alabama.

That said Banks is amazing. His stats are just ridiculous. I can't wait to see him play in two weeks.

Slay wouldn't even make our team as a walk on.

So you think Alabama and MSU have equal footing in linebacker coverage and d-line pass rush? Or do you think those things don't affect pass defense?

The State fans and their shitty football program make me laugh. Go play with the little schools.

Yeah, they do to an extent, but ours is still better. If you really think otherwise, then you are just being a homer. Any expert in the country would tell you that Alabama's is better.

We've also played better teams than you have.

That is one arse-backwards argument. So State's secondary is better because your front seven sucks and Alabama's doesn't? Interesting logic.

Weak SEC schedule?

Literally no such thing. aTm is better than expected, Arky is talented, even if they were on meltdown mode, Michigan is good, we're just that much better, UT is really good, just victims of a tough schedule and an average coach, WKU may be one of the top three non-AQ teams in the country, and Ole Miss is vastly improved.

Of course they would. They also thought that the '10 Bama team could take on the Carolina Panthers. What's your point?

Well, if you'll read the context of my statement you'd realize that's not what I said. A Bama poster(Funky Tide I believe) said "Well, statistically Bama has the best pass defense." To which I said "Pass defense isn't only the secondary, pass rush and linebacker coverage also affects that" and implied one could have a better secondary and a suckier pass defense due to lack of an edge presence and linebackers giving up passes.
