What a stupid post.

I used to think the Bama clowns were obsessed with recruiting. Now its 'ratings'.

I think Oregon is gonna get a hard lesson in SEC style defensive fronts.

Tennessee gave the Ducks a hard lesson for exactly one half. Unfortunately for the Vols, their team was nonexistent in the 2nd half:

Strange, its almost like you think 2010 Tennessee is on par with 2010 Auburn.

To get on top in the SEC, you usually have to have outstanding defensive line play and a great running game. Auburn is on top of the conference right now, and shocker, they have both of those things.

...was this uninteresting?

Like it or not, this isn't far off base. There are no heavy hitters in this game. It's Auburn and Oregon.

Football fans that watch every NC game will tune in. It's not going to draw the casual fans who only know the big names though. Auburn does have the controversy aspect that will probably bring in a few viewers who have heard the talk.

Of course ESPN is hyping this game. They know they need to.

Also...will this game finally end auburn's geographic obscurity?

I thought everyone already knew Auburn was in West Georgia

It's very far off and very wrong. We have the most exciting player in college football.... the most exciting player in football in a very long time, tell me who is better?

Again, this post was started by a Bama fan.... the University of Alabama has sucked the better part of the decade.... make it the last 40 years... keep living off the Bear, its funny.. meanwhile we'll keep calling Tuscaloosa home.

And as bad as we were in our legitimately bad period, we still accomplished more than Auburn...

And if you seriously want to go back 40 years and compare records and achievements, you will get quite a shock. Go ahead, check out Bama since 1970...I'll wait.

Quite an accomplishment. Are those half dozen games your biggest?

Dunno if it was posted yesterday as I have been travelling, but AU did partcipate in the two highest rated games in all of college football this year and 3 of the top 6 most watched games in the country.

AU-Bama
AU-SC
AU-UGA

3 of the top 6 games nationally all year. The BCSCG ratings will be VERY good as well.

It just cracks me up watching the meltdown happening amongst Bama fans that Auburn not only produced a better Heisman winner this year than you last year, but we're about to bring a national championship to Auburn the year after you... Suck it and enjoy driving down the road seeing the Auburn 2010 National Champions stickers everywhere...

You've always been relevant to Bama fans...you're our biggest rival. I'm talking about to ANYONE else...

Why is this thread 5 pages long??

It's nothing but a weak bammer flame and whining because AU is the better team this year, and pretty much has been for the last 30 years.

Just give them a 28-27, 7 out of 9, and tell them to get back to making fries.

You're new here, but no FTBLN honestly believes this shite. Starts a thread about Auburn at least once a day...

sarcasm never works well on the 'net..

I don't give a rat's arse if the ratings are the worst ever.. We've never really been of national importance in CFB.. why should we care now?

Yeah exactly. At times, Auburn has been as good or better than Bama for the last 30 years, but that doesn't change the fact that Bama' still kills Auburn in prestige.

Oh wow. I didn't realize that illegal immigrants living in trailers in Southern California wearing bammer sweatshirts that they bought at the Goodwill Store equaled "prestige".

I was talking about teams, not players. And I'm not talking about how good they are this year. I'm talking about heavy hitters as far as pulling in viewers.

I love the fact, though its been almost a year since he suddenly passed away and left behind a wife and five lovely daughters, Mark Green is still all up in your head and totally owns you.

I'm sure my friend Mark is still getting a big kick out of that.
