Hypothetically, you're forced to place a $3K bet picking the champ..who's your pick?

Alabama residents- let's say $100 for you. I know times aren't easy for everyone.

I will put 3k cow chips the cowbell ringers. If they don't win at least they will have something to munch on.

If I had to I think Georgia could win it....but my money is on Alabama until somebody shows they can be beaten.

If I'm forced to bet, based on what I've seen from both teams, I have to go Georgia over Bama. In some of the Bama games I have watched, their offense seems to have to try a little harder than ours, and the defense seems to have to try a little harder, what I mean is, they aren't making it look easy like UGA has, or even as easy as Bama has made it look in the past, so far. Let me also say Bama has had somnewhat better competition so far, so maybe that's why. But OP says I'm forced to bet, so if I'm forced, I'll take UGA.

Please, tell us again how easy that was to move the ball on Clemson's defense?

I'm looking at the entire body of work, not focusing too much on one game or drive etc.

If it makes you feel better, I would never make this bet in real life. OP said I was forced to.

It's too early to tell much about either Bama or Georgia because neither of our teams has played anybody, right?

Perhaps you should spend a little more time on someone your own size. Those will be the guys showing up in the SECCG and playoff.

Hard to argue with your poitns...in fact, I wouldn't. You are right and I agree. My position is I just think Saban gets them straightened out. But....sooner or later they will fall.

I do agree that our defense just seems to be flying to the ball and playing with a ton of confidence, and Alabama's does not have that same confidence they had in the past. By confidence, I mean they seem like they are not totally sold that they are covering the right gaps. they seem a tad more tentative than they have in the past. I saw that a few weeks ago against Florida but until you said that I thought it might be my imagination.
