Ok. I’ll concede on the Bama Miami issue.
Thank you. I'm not right very often, so this gives me the feely weelies.

Still, I’ve never seen a more thorough beat down of a top tier program than the Miami curbstomp of #2 UTexas in 1991.
Don't misunderstand. Miami had some absolutely dominating and great teams. We can both agree on that.
I began hating Miami the year they played Penn State for the National Championship, and Warren Sapp and company stepped off the airplane wearing camos and then walked out when Penn State did their skit at the Bowl banquet. They lost a lot of respect for me. Of course, that was before the Sandusky dealings came out, so I am not much of a Penn State fan now, either.

Hell, UG went 88 years before their first too.
Florida went 60 years before their first CONFERENCE title. Georgia Tech and Tulane won SEC titles before UF could muster one. Florida has done a good job of making up for lost time, but don't act like the Gators have avoided a championship drought.

Teams that followed up on their 1/2 national championship by going 6-22 against their in-state rival? That would be Georgia Tech.
