So Sampson is simply a serial cheater with no regard to the rules.
And your hypcorisy about Bediako when Houston has a 24 year old at his fourth school is laughable.

Kelvin Sampson doesn’t condone murder nor does he get in front of a mic and camera to virtue signal against something he is getting ready to do himself. Oats isn’t in the same stratosphere of human being OR basketball coach as Sampson
Bediako has been pro for 3 years. Sampson has never done anything close to this deplorable. The good news is the guy sucks arse so yall will continue to be trash. But oats made himself a huge bitch for crying about this then doing it. Can’t spin it

Nate Oats is obviously a total POS as a human being. But as a basketball fan, I do like watching his team play using his approach to offense.

quote:
Violations at Oklahoma (2000-2006)
Kelvin Sampson, while head coach at Oklahoma, demonstrated a blatant and complete disregard for NCAA recruiting rules, engaging in systematic cheating that undermined the integrity of college basketball. He and his staff made 577 impermissible telephone calls to 17 recruits between 2000 and 2004, far exceeding NCAA limits on contact with prospects. This reckless behavior showed a willful intent to gain unfair advantages in recruiting, prioritizing wins over ethical standards.
The NCAA investigation revealed a failure to monitor compliance within the program, with Sampson at the helm fostering an environment where rules were flagrantly ignored. As a result, Oklahoma was slapped with two years of probation, and Sampson himself faced severe personal sanctions: a one-year ban on off-campus recruiting and phone calls to prospects, marking him as a repeat offender in the making even before his move to Indiana.
Violations at Indiana (2006-2008)
Undeterred by his probation from Oklahoma, Sampson shamelessly continued his pattern of deceit and rule-breaking at Indiana, proving himself a chronic cheater who couldn't resist exploiting the system. Hired in March 2006 while still under sanctions, he and his assistants committed over 100 impermissible phone calls to recruits, including at least 25 calls to nine prospects that exceeded limits even without prior restrictions in place.
Sampson, along with assistants Jeff Meyer and Rob Senderoff, deliberately violated the existing sanctions from his Oklahoma tenure by failing to comply with recruiting call restrictions. This included Sampson's direct participation in prohibited three-way calls orchestrated by Senderoff, a sleazy tactic to skirt the rules while he was banned from such activities.
In a display of utter hypocrisy, Sampson acted contrary to NCAA principles of ethical conduct by knowingly breaching these restrictions, all while serving as the former president of the National Association of Basketball Coaches—exposing his leadership as a farce.
Sampson and Meyer also engaged in impermissible in-person recruiting contact during a sports camp at Assembly Hall on June 30 and July 1, 2007, where Meyer provided a prospect with unauthorized benefits like a T-shirt and drawstring backpack—petty but telling indicators of a program rotten with corruption under Sampson's watch.
Compounding his crimes, Sampson repeatedly lied and provided false or misleading information to both university and NCAA investigators, eroding any remnant of trust and highlighting his cowardice in the face of accountability.
He failed to deport himself with the high standard of honesty expected in college athletics, instead embodying dishonesty and self-interest.
Finally, Sampson neglected to promote an atmosphere of compliance in the men's basketball program, allowing violations to flourish and dragging Indiana's reputation through the mud.
These five major violations led to Sampson's forced resignation in February 2008 with a $750,000 buyout—essentially a golden parachute for his misconduct—and a five-year show-cause penalty from the NCAA in November 2008, one of the harshest punishments available, effectively blackballing him from college coaching for years and cementing his legacy as a serial violator who prioritized cheating over integrity.

So almost 20 years ago while at a different school, Sampson was trying so hard to get opportunities for high schoolers the ncaa made him chill out.
Where does this say he got in front of a mic and camera and bitched about something that he himself was planning to do? Did you even read the shite chat gpt spit out or is this just how the toothless go through life these days?

Major collegiate athletics are now 100% a business. Any illusions to the contrary are forever dead. Quit acting like these coaches have some moral obligation to better the lives of young men.

“I think it's taking away opportunities from kids coming out of high school. I was a high school coach for 11 years. I wanted my kids to get opportunities when they left my program. This is taking opportunities away from those kids." - Nate Oats when Baylor pulled a former player out of the g league when the season started
It’s like you idiots don’t even know what is being discussed
