That's what he says. The guy has been all in on BAMA basketball tradition since he got here. Listening to Jimmy Dykes explain to the world how Oats could possibly make the big lateral move to the shorthorns was just disrespectful and clueless.
The guy loves Tuscaloosa. Plaid is just his way of saying I'm all in.

Yea seems like he was suit and tie his entire time at Buffalo. Coaching fashion in general has changed alot since 6 years ago

Correct. I believe someone gave him one of Wimp's actual jackets to wear for a game in (I think) his first season. After that, he bought some of his own that fit.
