Lots of bandwagoners.

SHITTONS of Bama stuff in the last year or so. There was lots of Auburn stuff in '04 as well.

Memphis is more of an SEC melting pot than Nashville.

UT may have more fans here than anyone else, but its not by much. I see more Bama stuff than UT stuff. Also, what was said was there were a lot more people in Nashville that HATE UT, than like them. Add up all the UGA, Bama, Auburn, Vandy and UK fans and it makes sense.

Also, observations from one day arent very good benchmarkers. One day last year I saw 7 LSU cars drive past me and saw like 2 UT cars. We all know LSU does not have more fans than UT in Nashville.

It also depends on what part of town you are in. The areas with money (Brentwood/Franklin/Green Hills/Bell Meade) have less UT fans. The areas that are more redneck are crawling with UT fans

I see a lot of Bama gear here. They are probably 2nd behind UT.

The Titans are about the only team that can bring UT and Vandy fans together, lol.

except for all the UTK fans that are in love with Peyton. I've started seeing UT license plates and decals with the Tennessee "T" overlapped with the colts horse shoe "U". Makes me sick.......

Yeah, makes me sick too. The idea is to root for the hometown team. You can be a Manning fan and at the same time be a TITANS fan...but a lot of UT fans are Colt fans because of Manning. I hate the Colts.

I still remember that one year when Bama came to town to play Vandy. You would've thought the game was in Tuscaloosa. There were Bama fans everywhere. Hell, even my neighbors were Bammers and walked to the game that day.

The Bama takeover here is horrible. I'd much rather have to live among the Vol fans than the Bammers.

It seems to me - a Nashville resident - that it's about:
25% UT
20% Bama
15% Auburn
10% UGA
10% Vandy
5% MS State
5% Ole Miss
10% Random (VT, UK, TX, etc

thats solid but I'd say its

UT- 20 percent
Bama-15 percent
Auburn- 10 percent
Vandy- 10 percent
UK- 10 percent
MTSU- 5 %
(UGA/Ohio State/Florida/FSU/VT/Notre Dame/LSU/Texas/Michigan/Arkansas/Ole Miss)pretty much make up all of the last 30 percent

I worked at a sports retail store in the summer the last 2 years and believe it or not the top 5 college sellers for us were

1. Florida
2. Bama
3. UT
4. LSU
5. Vandy

I thought that was interesting

My wife and I are in Nashville and LSU alums.

Eventhough Bama is the second or third population it ain't close to UT's size IMO. I feel Bama is being vastly exxagerated in this thread.

just depends on where in Nashville you are. The more south you get the more Auburn fans their are but as a whole I would say it is mostly

1. UT
2. BAMA
3. AU
4. FL/Vandy (yes i said Vandy)

I have lived here since 2000 and i see bama fans all over Nashville. just my guess from the people i know and see though. Either way its a great city to live in!

I have been living here in Nashville for 4 years.

I will never forget going to the Vandy/Bama game in 2007 and it was nothing but Crimson. I was amazed at the amount of Alabama fans.

I would list the amount of fans like this.

1. UT
2. Alabama
3. UF
4. Kentucky
5. Auburn
6. Ole Miss

I some see Louisville stickers or tags on cars but Kentucky overtakes them by far.
