He reminds me of Curley Hallman back at LSU 1991-95. The guy was country as hell and a good recruiter. He was not smart, his teams didn't play smart and his offense and defense schemes were 20 years old going back to Danny Ford at Clempson.
I like Billy but he is not shown he can coach at the P5 level. I think his stubborness will be his downfall.

You don't see many coaches at that level put two players on the field, in the same special teams grouping, wearing the same number.
Of course, Mark Stoops struggled to coach covering receivers lined up outside the numbers three times in two games. I hope he learned.
